“Broom Tree offered an atmosphere so conducive to encountering the Lord! Especially in the silence and receiving the quiet hospitality of the staff. The food was a gift, beautifully and lovingly prepared. I appreciated the healthy fruits, vegetables, and salad bar.”
“What wasn’t a best part? The food, the coffee station, the staff, the directors, the love seat in my room, the scenery, the chapels, the silence, the laundry soap, the ironing board, my bed, the entire experience was awesome.”
"The mattress was firm, perfect pillows, fresh smell on the sheets, luxurious towels, and everything so clean and beautiful. The fireplace in the entry is inviting, and the decor is fabulous. Absolutely beautiful place, superb food, and a true home away from home. God bless you!”
Retreat Center Amenities
Broom Tree was built in 2004 with the silent retreatant in mind. Its Midwestern, farm-country location is comfortably simple and well-suited to provide retreatants with everything they need, and nothing they don't, for silent personal prayer.
